As a millennial, of course I love my avocado toast. But it does get a little boring sometimes.

I’m not on TikTok (should have said, ELDER millennial), but I do see what trends on Instagram after the fact.

And this grated egg toast was VIRAL.

Who has known about this grated egg trick before? I don’t know who originally went viral with this recipe, but I thought it was clever!

I love hard-boiled eggs but never thought about taking a grater to one. What a way to mix it up!

Use this trick for salads, casseroles, maybe pasta? And definitely on this avocado toast.

Chili flakes, sea salt and fresh pepper are all you need to jazz it up even more.

The original recipe I saw had a whole tablespoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of chili flakes, but I cut that in half for the recipe.

Unless you’re trying to add some pizazz to the plate!

Romanticize your life, yes?
