There are only 5 ingredients to mix this up: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice and cloves.

You may want to keep this recipe on hand in case you find yourself without any pumpkin spice – the spices needed are probably in your cupboard already!

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

    In a small bowl, combine all spices together thoroughly. Store in an airtight jar or container.

Notes

You can store this in an airtight container or jar for up to a year.
Use this spice blend in recipes for muffins, cupcakes, pumpkin bread and more. It’s also delicious sprinkled on top of coffee. Any time a recipe calls for pumpkin pie spice you can use this.
