This dip is perfect for 1-2 people and can be easily doubled or tripled to serve more guests. (You’ll see why this is a small serving down below.)

Only 4 simple ingredients! Whipped cream (or Cool Whip), sprinkles, vanilla pudding powder, cream cheese.

I prefer to use homemade whipped cream since Cool Whip is not the best list of ingredients. Thrifty Frugal Mom has a good recipe for this!

As for the pudding mix, it can be hard to find a natural replacement for this in stores. But a good homemade hack (that I got from Joyous Home) is to use 1 part cornstarch, 2 parts fine sugar, plus 1 part vanilla (extract or powder).

The specific replacement amounts are listed in the recipe card notes, as is a quality vanilla powder!

All you have to do is whip up the cream cheese, add in the other ingredients, and you’ve got yourself an easy sugar cookie dessert dip!

Plus, you can decorate it according to your party theme. A sneak peek on what this will be used for, say hello to sugar cookie Frosty! This is the head of the holiday snowman dessert dip tray.

A delicious sugar cookie dip that captures the essence of everyone's favorite holiday treat! This creamy, sweet dip is perfect for pairing with graham crackers, fruit, or even more cookies. Get ready to indulge in a fun and easy dessert that will be a hit at any gathering!

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1⁄2 cup homemade whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 1⁄4 cup vanilla pudding powder (see notes for a more natural substitute)
  • 1⁄2 tablespoon sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and free of lumps.
  2. Add in the whipped cream or cool whip, and vanilla pudding powder. Mix until incorporated.
  3. Fold in the sprinkles.
  4. Transfer sugar cookie dip to a small serving bowl. Recipe is easily doubled or tripled to make a larger amount!
  5. Best served immediately, or can be refrigerated for up to 2 hours before serving. Whipped cream may lose it's shape after that amount of time.
  6. Use dip with graham crackers, pretzels, fruit, cookies, etc.

Notes

  • You can easily double or triple this recipe as needed!
  • I've not had luck finding a natural vanilla pudding powder, but an easy substitute is to use 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract or vanilla powder in place of the 1/4 cup vanilla pudding powder. Powdered sugar may make for a smoother consistency than granulated sugar, and since it already has a little bit of cornstarch in it, you can also try 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract or vanilla powder.
